It noted that it is seeking a candidate capable of handling a broad range of consular duties, including processing travel documents, birth certificates, certificates of good conduct, and authentication requests.
The role also involves managing correspondence, maintaining a diaspora database, and translating documents between French and English.

What are the requirements?
The successful applicant will serve as a primary point of contact for Kenyans living in France and other countries under the embassy's accreditation, advising them on local laws, marriage procedures, registration of newborns, driver's licences, and death certificates.
The role additionally requires coordination of incoming and outgoing mail and direct support to the Consular Officer.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree and demonstrate prior experience in public relations, customer service, or office administration.
Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken, is a firm requirement, while fluency in Kiswahili will be considered an added advantage.
Applicants must also be proficient in standard office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Critically, the embassy stipulates that only individuals who already hold a valid French resident card and are legally authorised to live and work in France will be considered for the post.

Successful candidates will receive 30 days of annual leave per year, in addition to public holidays and compensatory days for any weekend work undertaken.
