Kenya's national regulatory authority for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector has opened applications for six permanent positions across its broadcasting, postal, and compliance divisions, with the recruitment managed through the Kenya School of Government.
The authority, which oversees telecommunications, cybersecurity, e-commerce, broadcasting, multimedia, and postal and courier services, described the vacancies as replacement roles and called on qualified, results-oriented professionals to apply.

The advertised roles include one deputy director for broadcasting services licensing at grade four, and five assistant director positions at grade four.
The assistant director roles cover broadcasting services licensing, consumer protection (public awareness and empowerment), postal and courier services licensing, monitoring and compliance for the central and eastern region, and planning and project management.
All six positions are offered on permanent and pensionable engagement terms, with remuneration guided by the authority's human resource policies and procedures manual alongside applicable government guidelines.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted through an online portal, with the deadline set for 5.00pm East Africa Time on Monday, August 11, 2026.
Candidates are required to upload a signed application letter that clearly states the position applied for and its reference number, a detailed curriculum vitae listing current and previous employers, positions held, current and expected salary, educational background, and the names of at least three professional referees, two of whom must be from the applicant's current organisation.
Applicants must also attach a copy of their national Identity Card along with academic and professional certificates.
The authority warned that any form of canvassing, or failure to include all required documents, will result in automatic disqualification. Only shortlisted candidates will receive further communication.
Successful candidates will be required to meet the integrity requirements outlined under Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, which covers ethics and anti-corruption standards for public officers.
The authority described itself as an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and gender equality.

In other news, the Public Service Commission advertised 131 job vacancies across various government ministries, state departments, and universities.
The recruitment drive not only seeks to enhance the public service workforce but also aligns with Kenya's long-term development goals under Vision 2030.
The urgency of these positions is underscored by the potential for candidates to join a vital public service sector amidst rising concerns over fraudulent job offers targeting vulnerable applicants.
