Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced outages across eight counties on Tuesday, August 25.

The power outage will last up to nine hours in select regions due to planned maintenance and upgrades to the system.

"It is necessary to interrupt supply periodically in order to facilitate maintenance and upgrade of power lines to the network, to connect new customers, or to replace power lines during road construction," KPLC stated.

Residents and businesses in the affected regions were urged to plan accordingly before the scheduled period.

Area: Ibis Farm, Mia Moja (from 8am to 5pm)
