A young mother has lost her life after allegedly confronting the woman she suspected of having an affair with her husband, leaving her family shattered and demanding justice.

Vainess Kanyama died after a violent confrontation with Christin Ntundwe, where she had reportedly gone to face Ntundwe directly over the alleged affair with her husband.

How Incident Unfolded

Kanyama's uncle, Derrick Bwalya, said he received a call informing him that his niece had been found unconscious close to a local market.

Details indicate that when he arrived at the scene, Kanyama was unresponsive and bleeding from the nose.

Efforts to rush her to hospital proved futile; she was reportedly already dead by the time help arrived. The family subsequently reported the matter to police.

A post-mortem examination determined that Kanyama died as a result of blood clots on both sides of her brain.

Suspect on the Run

Her family has buried her following the completion of the examination. She leaves behind three children, the youngest of whom is five years old.

Bwalya said the family is pushing for justice and has called on Kanyama's husband to cooperate fully with police as investigators seek to locate Ntundwe, who is reportedly in hiding.
