KSh 2k fee: World Vision announces auction of used Toyota Land Cruisers, bikes

World Vision Kenya and its affiliate VisionFund Kenya have announced a public auction of eight Toyota Land Cruisers and 13 Yamaha motorcycles.
The organisation is inviting interested buyers to submit bids for the vehicles, which will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis.
Motor vehicles on sale
The auction covers one Toyota Land Cruiser Hardtop (registration KDJ 316Q, 2010) listed under VisionFund Kenya and seven vehicles under World Vision Kenya, ranging from a 2009 model to a 2014 model.
The World Vision Kenya fleet includes six Toyota Land Cruiser hardtops and one Toyota Land Cruiser with a tour-converted body.

Motorcycles and Viewing Details
The 13 motorcycles on offer are all Yamaha models, predominantly the DT175, with manufacture years spanning from 2005 to 2016.
The lot also includes one Yamaha DT125 (2006) and one Yamaha YD110 (2016). Of the 13 units, eight have paid duty and five carry unpaid duty status.

All vehicles and motorcycles will be available for physical inspection at the World Vision Kenya Karen Office from Friday, 7 August 2026 to Friday, 14 August 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and again between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., on weekdays only, excluding public holidays.
How to Bid
Prospective bidders are required to first complete an Expression of Interest form available online, with the submission deadline set at 5:00 p.m. on 17 August 2026. Bidding documents will only be issued following successful submission of the form.
A non-refundable bidding fee of KSh 2,000 must accompany each bid submission as proof of payment.
Payment should be made via the World Vision Kenya M-Pesa Paybill Number 880100, using Account Number 7143130019 (NCBA Bank). Attaching the payment receipt is a mandatory requirement, and bids submitted without it will not be considered.
All completed bids must reach the organisation by 5:00 p.m. on 20 August 2026. Bidders with enquiries are advised to direct them to kenya_procurement@wvi.org.
World Vision Kenya noted that it reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without being obligated to provide reasons for its decision.
