- YouTuber Oga Obinna tracked Sarah down after the clip spread widely and invited her to tell her full story on his platform
- Sarah revealed Joshua blocked her on all platforms on August 1 with no explanation and shared the dynamics of their relationship
A 22-year-old Nairobi woman whose tearful online plea to a boyfriend who blocked her without warning captured widespread attention has now told her full story publicly.
Sarah Nana posted a video on her TikTok page in which she wept openly and appealed to a man named Joshua to unblock her.
The raw emotion struck a nerve with viewers, and the clip spread rapidly across social media.
How Sarah and Joshua met
The two had originally connected through TikTok, and what began as an online friendship gradually developed into a relationship that stretched across two years.
Sarah described Joshua, who is 25 years old, as someone who genuinely understood her and stood by her even when his friends questioned her age.
"Despite his friends telling him I look older, he knew me and believes I am a 22-year-old. He bought me shoes and pays for my hair and nails," she said, her voice breaking as she spoke.
She recalled travelling to his home in Ruiru to wash his clothes and cook his favourite meals, painting a picture of a relationship she had invested in deeply.
Why did Joshua block Sarah
Sarah said the relationship appeared normal until August 1, when Joshua abruptly blocked her across every platform and on her phone without offering any reason.
"The issue is I had a boyfriend; he is 25 years old, and we have been dating for about two years. We have been fine until August 1 when he blocked me all over and everywhere," she said.
What hurt her most, she explained, was not just the silence but the absence of any closure. She later heard through others that Joshua had become involved with another woman while they were still together.
YouTuber Oga Obinna came across the viral clip and reached out to Sarah, bringing her onto his platform, Obinna TV Extra, so she could tell her story in her own words.
Sarah said that all she had initially wanted was for Joshua to unblock her and speak to her directly. However, by the time she sat down to recount events, her tone had shifted.
"I will cry and eventually heal, but I will not look for him again. I will find a job and take care of myself and I will get another man," she stated.
