Jakub Piotr Kiwior is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or left-back.
Born on 15 February 2000 in Tychy, Poland, the 1.89-metre defender has represented his country at senior level since 2022 and currently plays for Primeira Liga club FC Porto.
Known for his composure on the ball, physical presence, and versatility, he rose from local youth ranks in southern Poland to compete in some of Europe’s top leagues.
He is married to Claudia Kowalczyk, a professional dancer, whom he wed in 2023.

At 16 he joined the youth setup of Belgian side RSC Anderlecht, where he spent two years and gained experience in the UEFA Youth League.
In 2018 he turned professional with Slovak club Železiarne Podbrezová, making his senior debut before transferring to MŠK Žilina in 2019.
At Žilina he established himself as a regular, appearing in dozens of matches and helping the team finish as league runners-up in consecutive seasons.
In August 2021 he moved to Serie A club Spezia, where he made 39 appearances over roughly 18 months and adapted to the demands of Italian top-flight football.
In January 2023 Arsenal signed him for a reported fee in the region of £20 million.
He contributed as a squad player and occasional starter in the Premier League and European competitions.
In 2025 he joined FC Porto, initially on loan before making the move permanent, and has since featured regularly in the Portuguese league and European fixtures.
Internationally, he debuted for Poland in June 2022, started every match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and was selected for UEFA Euro 2024.
Kiwior’s honours include the English Super Cup (Community Shield) with Arsenal in 2023–24 and the Portuguese league title plus Portuguese Super Cup with Porto.
He has been named in the Slovak First League Team of the Season and U21 Team of the Season for 2020–21, as well as the Primeira Liga Team of the Season.
He participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024 with Poland, starting in all matches in both tournaments, and has earned multiple caps and goals for the national team.
