Migori residents appeal for urgent repair of Tulu borehole
Audio By Vocalize
Residents of Tulu in Nyatike, Migori County, are appealing to the county government to urgently repair the area's borehole, which has been out of service for the past two weeks.
The breakdown has left hundreds without access to clean water, forcing residents to rely on a nearby dam shared with livestock, raising fears of waterborne diseases.
They also say they are walking more than five kilometres or spending money to buy water from Onger Trading Centre.
The residents are now urging the Migori County Government to move with speed and restore the borehole to ease the worsening water crisis.
